Nestled in the majestic Coast Mountain Range of British Columbia, Canada, is the stunning town of Whistler, which played host to the final stop of the 2024 Crankworx World Tour. Crankworx provides a stage for the world’s best gravity orientated mountain bikers to battle against one another in multiple disciplines including Downhill, Enduro, Dual Slalom, Slopestyle as well as giving the mountain bike industry an opportunity to come together to celebrate friendships, achievements and to discuss the future over a beer.
For the athletes competing, this truly is a daunting stage. However, it’s one that will never be turned down if given the opportunity. Two of those athletes were Privateer riders Fergus Ryan and Bryce Stroud.
Ryan made the trek from the UK to compete in Enduro & DH while Stroud made his way across the US / Canadian border from Utah with his eyes set on the Whip Off, Dual Slalom, Pump track and having a good time.
Over here at Privateer, we figured that having two of our favourite riders from opposite sides of the world in the same place, at the same time, meant that we just had to grab one of our favorite videographers, Carson Fletcher, and take the lads to a couple of the most iconic trails that Whistler has to offer.
