Dan is the man with the engineering plan, putting the maths behind the metal. Some people merely adopt the ‘rabbit hole’ but Dan was born down there…molded by it…and bloody loves it. Finding a second home with the like-minded folk at Privateer, Dan leads our engineering activities. Bristol born and bred Dan grew up riding dirt jumps and South Wales’ finest. After completing his MEng at the University of Leeds and being introduced to all sorts of things with curly handlebars and no suspension, Dan spent a season in New Zealand riding the best the island had to offer. He then spent a few years working on electric motor trials bikes while cramming in as much riding, and a bit of racing, as he could. Happy riding anything with two wheels even happier trying to keep it on one. If you see him out and about, pop a wheelie and you’ll be sure to get a ‘yeoow’!
